1. Who we are

BlurPage (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates https://blurpage.online/ and the BlurPage browser extension (the “Extension”).

2. Scope

This policy applies when you visit blurpage.online, purchase a Pro license, or use the Extension. It does not cover third-party websites you visit while using the Extension.

3. Summary

  • Masking and screenshots are processed on your device. We do not receive the pages you visit, the content you redact, or screenshots you capture—unless you send them to us (e.g. for support).
  • The Extension contacts blurpage.online only for license activation and validation.
  • Shop purchases are handled through WooCommerce and Creem.io (see Section 6).

4. Data processed locally (Extension)

Stored in your browser only:

  • mask settings per webpage URL;
  • license key, activation token, plan, expiry, and last check time;
  • optional debug info from the last license API response (shown in the Extension UI).

This data is not uploaded to our servers by design.

5. Data sent to our servers (Extension)

When you activate or validate a license, we may receive your license key and activation token over HTTPS, for example:

  • https://blurpage.online/wp-json/mosaic-license/v1/activate
  • https://blurpage.online/wp-json/mosaic-license/v1/validate

We do not require your email in the Extension to activate a key. We do not receive browsing history, page HTML, or screenshot files through these calls.

6. Website and shop

When you use our site or buy a license, we may process:

  • Name, email, billing address — order fulfillment and license delivery;
  • Payment — processed by Creem.io at checkout (card and supported methods). We do not store full card numbers on blurpage.online;
  • Account data — if you create a WooCommerce “My Account”;
  • IP address and server logs — security and site operation;
  • Support messages you email to us.

We do not use Stripe or PayPal on this store at this time.

7. Cookies

We use essential cookies only, such as:

  • WordPress session and security cookies;
  • WooCommerce cart and checkout cookies when you shop.

We do not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or other advertising/analytics trackers on blurpage.online at this time. If we add non-essential cookies in the future, we will update this policy and ask for consent where required (e.g. EU/UK).

8. How we use data

To provide BlurPage, deliver licenses, process payments, support users, and prevent abuse. We do not sell personal information.

9. Service providers

We may share data with processors that help us operate the service, including:

  • Hosting (e.g. Hostinger);
  • WooCommerce and License Manager for WooCommerce (orders and license keys);
  • Creem.io (payment processing);
  • Email for order and support messages.

They process data only to provide our services.

10. Retention

  • License records: for the license term and a reasonable period after;
  • Orders: as required by applicable law;
  • Support email: until resolved, then deleted or anonymized within a reasonable period;
  • Extension local data: until you uninstall or clear extension data.

11. Security

We use HTTPS for the website and license API. No method of storage or transmission is 100% secure.

12. International transfers

If you are outside our country, your data may be processed where our hosting or payment providers operate, with appropriate safeguards where required by law.

13. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object, port data, and withdraw consent. California residents: we do not sell personal information. Contact support@blurpage.online to exercise your rights.

14. Children

BlurPage is not directed at children under 16 (or 13 where applicable).

15. Browser permissions

  • activeTab / scripting — masks and screenshots on the tab you use;
  • storage — local masks and license state;
  • host access — run on http/https pages you open; contact blurpage.online for license checks only.

Built-in browser pages (e.g. chrome://) are not supported.

16. Changes

We may update this policy. The effective date at the top will change for material updates.
